Course Overview
This Ofqual-regulated Level 3 university foundation programme in Accountancy provides
learners with fundamental skills and knowledge for success in financial management and
accounting roles across various sectors. The 60-credit diploma is equivalent to one full A-level
and serves as a pathway to further university-level study or direct employment.
The curriculum is designed to be responsive to changing industry demands, equipping students
with both practical and theoretical competencies in accountancy and financial reporting.

How it Works
This course is delivered entirely online, enabling learners to start anytime and study at their own
pace. Each of the three modules includes approximately 40 guided learning hours and up to 50
additional hours of enrichment content such as readings, exercises, and assessments.
Assessment is based on three written assignments, each between 2,000–3,000 words. Upon
successful completion, students receive the OTHM Level 3 Diploma in Accountancy, which
qualifies them for university progression or continued study through Level 4/5 Accounting and
Finance diplomas.
Students receive ongoing academic support, including access to webinars, a student discussion
forum, and personalized tutor assistance.
